About Lisa Price

Lisa Price has been training dogs for about 30 years.

She has run Canyon K9 Training for about 20 years.

She has worked with hundreds of dogs of every breed and size.

Lifetime support is free.

Training the dog is the easy half. The harder half is teaching the person what to do with the dog once it goes home, which is why owners are part of every program here. A dog that leaves trained will not stay trained on its own.

How Lisa trains

Lisa is a balanced trainer.

“When I'm done training your dog, I'll still be there to support you 10 years later. I've trained generations of litters. It doesn't stop when you leave here. I train the human as well as the dog. Coaching is a big part of what I do, for the dog and for teaching the human how to engage. Just because a dog is trained doesn't mean it will stay trained if the owner gets complacent.”

Facility

It is a relaxed, comfortable place. People coming out for the first time settle in quickly, and so do the dogs.
